Sara – PR & Marketing

Sara has a reputation for enjoying a challenge! Working alongside her husband, combining their strengths and ambitions for the Stuart Holmes Salon, certainly gives her that! Sara began her career in sales and marketing within the five star luxury hotel market and spent a number of years working for the exclusive Savoy Group of Hotels in London. Sales and marketing along with business development became her focus and she used her skills in a variety of luxury independent hotels. Sara relates this as being similar to the hairdressing industry as it’s the clients that are always the key.

Before finally joining forces with Stuart, Sara was working for the Virgin Corporation for the Incentive & Motivation Division – this was a really exciting career opportunity riding on the Virgin Empire rollercoaster giving her an insight into every aspect of business development! Sara has brought her ‘hotel influence’ to the salon by having a reception room for guests to ‘check in and out’ and a relaxing lounge to drink champagne or cappuccinos whilst reading the daily newspaper or a magazine! She is scrupulous about attention to detail and is able to look at the salon from a client’s perspective.
